Whiskey vagina: An epidemic
Alexa, play Blame It By Jamie Foxx.
I know y’all have heard of whiskey dick, but honey, whiskey vagina is an epidemic affecting women all over the world.
You know that feeling when you’re throwing back mad drinks and start to feel super horny like you could get it on right there in the clurb? So you take it to the bed and you find you can’t get it on but WHY?! Alcohol might trigger your sex senses but studies have shown it actually takes away from your performance.
Let’s be clear, there’s nothing wrong with a drink or two every week, but anything more than that- especially on a consistent basis can threaten your health and even your sexual health. A study in the Journal of Sex Research showed that the more alcohol was consumed, the less likely a woman was to get wet and/or orgasm. Because alcohol is a depressant, it inhibits the part of the nervous system that is responsible for orgasms.
Since alcohol dehydrates the body, and I mean the WHOLE body (la vagina is no exception to the rule) it’ll be like cobwebs down there. The body needs a certain amount of blood to provide oxygen and stimulation to the vagina to get wet. A depressed nervous system makes it hard to get wet and stay wet. While alcohol can definitely give you an extra boost of confidence, it doesn’t translate well in the bedroom.
So ladies, next time you’re trying to get lit and also get it on, try to moderate how much your drink and stay super hydrated!
